We always welcome visitors . . .
Sit on the deck and you're bound to see some of Alaska's wildlife wonders that come to visit Lou's on the Kenai River.  Here are a few pictures of some of our regular guests that grace us with their beauty and wonderful acrobatic skills.

Do you suppose she's waiting for her turn?

Tame Grey Jays eat from your hand.

Moose are a constant . . .
Seems like the moose know the grass is always greener on Lou's side of the river!  They make it a point to sample Lou's vegetation on a regular basis.  The young calves are a joy to watch as they prance around on nimble legs learning the finer art of bending down for a snack.

She'll be wandering around feeding and exploring until she
finds a comfortable spot to rest...

There's plenty here to keep this family busy
while you enjoy what few people ever see up close.

At The Waters Edge . . .
Standing on the dock you can fish for Dolly Varden and enjoy the company of ducks that make the daily trip to see what's up at Lou's.

A family of ducks regularly socialize with Lou's guests.

Off In The Trees . . .
This is Alaska, so what would it be without a bear passing through on his way to find a salmon dinner.  After all, that is why people visit Lou's year after year.  We make you feel at home in comfortable accommodations and insure you get great fishing experiences with qualified guides - so you can catch your own Salmon for dinner!

He's too busy looking for fish to notice
Lou and her guests are enjoying the show!
